We Can Help

The Vista ADHD Clinic in Portland helps children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling with focus, attention, learning, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. Our Portland clinic provides evaluation and treatment recommendations for ADHD and other learning issues, such as difficulties with reading, writing, math, or social skills. At Vista, our staff of highly trained professionals can help you receive an accurate take on whether or not you or your child has ADHD, and what to do next.

Why get an Evaluation?

Just because someone is having a hard time staying focused doesn’t mean they have ADHD. It could be due to a learning problem, stress, anxiety, or life circumstances. A misdiagnosis can result in years of costly treatment, or taking strong medications when they aren’t necessary.

We understand how difficult it can be to wade through all the confusing information about ADHD. We can help.

Vista provides the gold standard in evaluations. You can’t tell if someone has ADHD in a brief meeting. Our evaluations last four hours, and include ADHD-specific tests, measures of cognitive and academic performance, a parent interview, teacher interviews, and observations during the evaluation. We then pull this all together in a thorough report.

We help you get it right the first time.

Our team specializes in comprehensive evaluations to determine whether ADHD is an accurate diagnosis, or if problems can better be explained by stress, a learning disorder, or other factors. Everyone has some symptoms of ADHD, but what sets someone apart who has a diagnosis of ADHD is statistically significant problems that cause severe challenges across important areas of your life. We take testing results, and compare these results to thousands of others, to see if there is a severe problem.
