Who We Are
Vista Leadership
Ryan Scott, PhD is the Director of Vista. He is passionate about promoting a psychological healthy workplace and improving the therapist experience when they do their valuable work. He also works as a consultant to other group practice owners and founders across the United States and Canada. In his free time, he loves exploring the Oregon outdoors, spending time with his family, and learning about the newest tech gadget.
Darcy Knight, M.Ed., is a co-owner of Vista Counseling and the director of our Wellness Center. But she also loves greeting clients in our lobby, which she helped design with a spa in mind. She knows the practice from top to bottom, and can answer nearly every question you can think of, from billing to where we got our great photos! When not helping our team lead the practice, she is busy spending time with her kids and enjoying the outdoors.
Julie Liszka, MSW is our Assistant Director of Operations. She is the “Swiss army knife” of the practice and holds many behind-the-scenes roles to help the practice run smoothly. In her free time, she enjoys riding her bike, camping, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.
Beau Garner, LMFT is an Assistant Director at our Eugene location. Beau spent several years as a therapist with Vista before transitioning to his current position in which he is now able to utilize his clinical background on a managerial level. When not in the Eugene office, Beau enjoys spending time outdoors running and hiking, and also spending time with his wife watching their children participate in sports.
Jenny Mauro, PhD is our Clinical Director and a psychologist at our Eugene office. She looks forward each day to providing supervision to our pre-licensed therapists, running clinical consultation groups, and offering an extra layer of support to our team of therapists. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, crafting with friends, and playing with her French Bulldogs.
Intake Specialists
Angie Mayol is one of those smiling faces you’ll see when you walk into Vista and you can hear her smile on the phone. With the perfect mix of experience in hospitality and mental health, she is a great addition to our team. When not helping our clients feel as welcome as possible, she enjoys time kayaking, camping, gardening, and spending time with her kids.
Daniel O. joined the Vista Admin team in December 2021 and works in our Portland office as an intake specialist. Daniel is eager to learn and leads with compassion, honesty, and empathy in his work and day-to-day life. He thoroughly enjoys every element of the fine arts, deep conversations, binge-watching documentaries, going to concerts, and escaping into the fantasy world of video games.
Erin Gillingham has worked in our Portland office since 2021. Her friendly voice and personality are a great addition to our team. In her free time, she is a murder mystery actor, trivia buff, karaoke aficionado, and musical theatre fan.
Joanna Brook joined the Vista team in our Eugene office as an Admin Specialist in 2022. She grew up on the Connecticut shore and has enjoyed living in Oregon since 2005. Prior to joining the Vista team, she was an office administrator for a radiology practice and an acupuncture clinic. She enjoys writing poetry and reading at open mics, gardening, and playing American songbook standards on the ukulele.
Steph Eberlein has been a member of our Eugene admin staff since 2022 and is eager to be a part of the mental health community. She is a Eugene native, graduating from the University of Oregon in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys cooking vegan food, playing board games and video games, and listening to live music. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Koby, and exploring the outdoors when she can.
Greta W. joined the Vista Team at our Eugene office in 2024. Originally from Northern Minnesota, she began visiting Oregon as a child and fell in love with the serene beauty of the forests and ocean. In her free time she enjoys reading, playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends, baking, and attending live concerts and theatre whenever possible. Greta started working in medical office administration in 2022 and truly enjoys learning something new everyday.
Billing Specialists
Annette Scallion is the Billing Lead at Vista Counseling. She keeps current on the ever-changing world of Medical Billing to ensure accuracy of claims processing. Her attentive customer service skills help her to provide the best overall experience for our Vista clients, ensuring their needs are met and their problems solved. In her spare time, her interests include travel, volunteering, and roller derby.
Kylie S. joined the Vista billing team in January of 2023 as a billing specialist. She enjoys working in a team alongside her Vista coworkers and learning new things along the way. She is currently working towards finishing her college degree. Outside of work, she plays roller derby, enjoys hosting themed parties, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Kira S. joined our team of Billing Specialists in January 2023. She brings an energetic attitude to the office and is very much looking forward to graduating from college. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, painting, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her cat, Appa.
