New group in Eugene: Want to live a life that matters?

Debra Martin, MA MFT of Open Field Therapy in Eugene is starting a wonderful group on Sept 24th:

Living a Life that Matters: ACT Group Transforming Anxiety & Depression

Here's how she describes the group in her flyer:

Acceptance and commitment approaches help us understand the struggle with depression and anxiety
in a completely different way – rather than get stuck in the battle for their end before living life, we notice their traps, and with the help of mindfulness practice, work to develop a values oriented lifestyle and commit to ac- tions the promote purpose and meaning.
This safe/ supportive small group involves mindfulness exercises that promote present moment awareness, member sharing, and a new theme each week to help participants reflect on avoidance patterns, and develop a plan of committed valued action.
