If you’ve been feeling a little stuck or anxious, this is the group for you.
Led by Vista practitioners April Lightcap, MS, and Julie Liszka, MSW, CSWA, the 6-week ACT to Reduce Stress group is for Vista’s current and waitlist clients who are ages 18 and up. In each 45-minute session, you will learn practical skills to reduce stress and move towards what you value most in life. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an evidence-based psychological approach shown to improve health and wellbeing in over 600 randomized trials. Across the interactive 6-week series, you will learn and practice ACT-based skills designed to improve your overall sense of wellbeing.
The group meets on Zoom Wednesdays from 12:05 to 12:50 for 6 weeks and costs $60 for the series. Limited to 12 group members. A reduced fee is available for those in need.
