I have been a therapist for adults, families, and children for 15 years. I have also been a parent myself for 25 years. I love being being a therapist, and have especially enjoyed working with a wide range of ages and issues.
I enjoy supporting parents in setting loving limits, and helping children feel listened to and understood. I believe healthy communication is the key to having a healthy family.
As a child therapist I enjoy both play therapy and talk therapy. Common struggles I have experience working with include stress, trauma reactivity, anxiety, depression, or life transition issues.
As a teen and adult therapist, I work to support individuals on their journey of self discovery. I have found that each of us are our own expert on ourselves: at times we need guidance to access our inner expert.
I have worked in a variety of settings including schools, group homes, and outpatient therapy. I also have experience as a clinical supervisor. I have had clients in foster care, adopted children, and children who are recovering from trauma. Whether a problem is severe, acute or ongoing, I am here to help support and guide you.
