I love working with a wide range of clients, including children, teens, and adults. I especially enjoy working with teens. I work hard to help both parents and their children feel supported and understood. When working with adult women our focus is on gaining confidence in dealing with significant challenges in life.

People often ask “what kind of issues do people see you for?” Typical reasons for seeking counseling with me include anxiety, depression, grief, stress management, adjustment to life transitions, and adjustment to illness. I’ve had a lot of success over the years in helping my clients with these challenges. Collaboratively we work together and focus on your unique strengths and how to incorporate them into daily life.

My co-therapist is my French bulldog, Callahan. He has been joining me at the office since he was nine weeks old and is a registered therapy dog. No matter the age he helps everyone feel at ease and welcomed.

I have worked in a variety of settings including a comprehensive medical setting, pediatric clinic and mental health private practice. I enjoy coordinating care with a variety of professionals and feel that it offers the most comprehensive care. I was also the clinical supervisor at a training clinic at the University of Oregon for over a decade and had the pleasure of training and mentoring over 100 graduate students.

When I am not at work I enjoy baking/cooking, crafting of all kinds, yoga, raising funds for dog rescue organizations and enjoying every minute my college age sons are home.
