My practice focuses on adult individual therapy. I work with individuals with a wide variety of concerns and have particular expertise/interest in the following areas: depression, anxiety and stress management, trauma/abuse, relationships, career decision-making, life transitions, and grief and loss.
I think it is essential to establish a good working relationship with every client in order to foster an environment of trust and safety for our work together. I tend to work collaboratively with clients to identify goals for therapy and encourage clients to feel empowered to make their own choices during the course of therapy – both in terms of what we focus on together and how they want to enact changes in their daily lives.
I earned my doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oregon and completed my pre-doctoral internship at Oregon State University’s counseling center.
