I Can Help…

I bring a warm and affirming personality, creating a space where clients can both feel nurtured and become equipped with the tools to achieve their goals.

What can you expect?

  • Feeling like you have come into full, appreciative awareness of their own abilities, strengths, and resources
  • Finding more balance and joy in your life
  • Noticing that you are using confidently expressed boundaries, balanced habits, and healthy thought patterns

My ideal clients desire to experience more balance and joy in their lives by using confidently expressed boundaries, improved communication skills, balanced habits, and healthy thought patterns. Whether I am working with an individual, couple, or family, my goal is to equip and empower each person to address their presenting issues and move forward with useful tools. Areas of specialty include couples counseling, self worth work, and anxiety management through a Cognitive Behavioral approach.

My twelve years of counseling experience, combined with my warm and affirming personality, creates an experience in which clients can both feel nurtured and become equipped with tools to achieve their goals. I truly value the experience of getting to know an individual at the beginning of the therapeutic process, and being a teammate in progressing to healthier functioning. My professional and personal life experiences have helped me to cultivate both a non-judgemental compassion and a deep desire to provide clinical information to provide relief and solutions to individual and interpersonal issues.

My perception of successful treatment is looking at the person in front of me and seeing an individual who has come into full, appreciative awareness of their own abilities, strengths, and resources. Likely outcomes of engagement in therapy are improved self-awareness and healthy coping as an individual, stronger connection and communication as a couple, and an overall sense of efficacy when managing life’s varied challenges. With a good therapeutic relationship built between counselor and client, peace, confidence, and improved mental health become attainable goals.
