OCD

  • Do you feel the need to double- or triple-check locks or light switches?
  • Do you spend an excessive amount of time arranging things?
  • Do you have a fear of being contaminated by germs?
  • Do you count, tap, or repeat certain words to reduce your anxiety?
OCD

If so, you may have obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Remember, if you have obsessive thoughts once in a while it doesn’t mean you have obsessive-compulsive disorder. But if your thoughts and/or behaviors interfere with your daily activities or cause you a lot of anxiety, it’s probably time to seek treatment.

We understand that living with OCD can be scary but you don’t have to go through it alone. The therapists at Vista Portland, OR are experienced and knowledgeable in the most proven types of therapy for OCD, including cognitive behavioral therapy and habit-reversal training.
