Who We Are
Vista Leadership
Ryan Scott, PhD is the Director of Vista. He is passionate about promoting a psychological healthy workplace and improving the therapist experience when they do their valuable work. He also works as a consultant to other group practice owners and founders across the United States and Canada. In his free time, he loves exploring the Oregon outdoors, spending time with his family, and learning about the newest tech gadget.

Darcy Knight, M.Ed., is a co-owner of Vista Counseling and the director of our Wellness Center. But she also loves greeting clients in our lobby, which she helped design with a spa in mind. She knows the practice from top to bottom, and can answer nearly every question you can think of, from billing to where we got our great photos! When not helping our team lead the practice, she is busy spending time with her kids and enjoying the outdoors.

Jenny Mauro, PhD is our Clinical Director and a psychologist at our Eugene office. She looks forward each day to providing supervision to our pre-licensed therapists, running clinical consultation groups, and offering an extra layer of support to our team of therapists. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, crafting with friends, and playing with her French Bulldogs.

Julie Liszka, LCSW is our Assistant Director of Operations and has been with Vista since 2011. She is the “Swiss army knife” of the practice and holds many behind-the-scenes roles to help the practice run smoothly. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickleball, obsessing over her cats, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.

Beau Garner, LMFT is an Assistant Director at our Eugene location. Beau spent several years as a therapist with Vista before transitioning to his current position in which he is now able to utilize his clinical background on a managerial level. When not in the Eugene office, Beau enjoys spending time outdoors running and hiking, and also spending time with his wife watching their children participate in sports.

Leslie Richman, LPC has been part of the Vista team since 2019 and in the counseling field since 2003. She is the Assistant Director in our Portland location, and is also a therapist and a clinical supervisor. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, and traveling. Leslie also finds joy in volunteer work, and works to create opportunities for Vista staff to have fun and give back to the community throughout the year.
Intake Specialists

Angie Mayol joined the team in 2018 and is one of those smiling faces you’ll see when you walk into our Eugene office. With the perfect mix of experience in hospitality and mental health, she is a great addition to our team. When not helping our clients feel as welcome as possible, she enjoys time kayaking, camping, gardening, and spending time with her kids.

Steph has been a member of our Eugene admin staff since 2022 and is eager to be a part of the mental health community. She is a Eugene native, graduating from the University of Oregon in 2021. In her free time, she enjoys cooking vegan food, playing board games and video games, and listening to live music. She also enjoys spending time with her dogs, and exploring the outdoors when she can.

Joanna Brook joined the Vista team in Eugene in 2022, bringing more than a decade of medical office administrative experience. In her free time, she writes poetry, grows flowers, and makes a safe home for two rescue cats.

Greta joined the Vista Team at our Eugene office in 2024. Originally from Northern Minnesota, she began visiting Oregon as a child and fell in love with the serene beauty of the forests and ocean. In her free time she enjoys reading, playing Dungeons & Dragons with friends, baking, and attending live concerts and theatre whenever possible. Greta started working in medical office administration in 2022 and truly enjoys learning something new everyday.


Emily joined the Vista team at our Portland office in 2026. Originally from the Bay Area, she spent several years teaching English in South Korea before returning to the U.S. to continue working in administrative roles. She relocated to Portland to enjoy a more bike friendly lifestyle, easy access to nature, and the city’s vegan food scene. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and researching new recipes, as well as spending time outdoors.

Morgan joined the Vista Team at our Bend office in 2026 and finds joy in working with the mental health community. In her free time she enjoys reading fantasy novels and completing sewing projects. When she isn’t spending time outdoors, she is a homebody with her cat and 2 rescue bunnies. Her favorite animals are horses and she competed as an equestrian vaulter throughout her entire childhood, winning multiple national championships.

Molly joined Bend as administrative staff in 2026. Her background is in school counseling and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion project management. Born and raised in Illinois, she earned her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and her graduate degree from Lewis University. Molly is passionate about systems change, accessibility, celebrating the little things, and building meaningful connections.
Billing Specialists

Annette is the Billing Lead at Vista Counseling. She keeps current on the ever-changing world of Medical Billing to ensure the accuracy of claims processing. Her attentive customer service skills help her to provide the best overall experience for our Vista clients, ensuring their needs are met and their problems are solved. In her spare time, her interests include travel, volunteering, and murder mysteries.

Kylie joined the Vista billing team in January of 2023 as a billing specialist. She enjoys working in a team alongside her Vista coworkers and learning new things along the way. Outside of work, she enjoys hosting themed parties, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and her miniature goat.
